Hello, and come on in—My name is Nichole.
I’m so glad you found your way here. I sure wish we were standing face-to-face. If so, I would hug you right now.
And, yes, I’m one of those….
You see—God has given me a heart so full of love, that I can’t help but squeeze everyone I see. I just seem to bend that way.
Our story…
I’ve been married for 25 years to my sweet husband, Eric. We have three young adult children—Nick, Kayla, and Cody.
Married life—well—it hasn’t always been as pleasant as it is now. There have been times…. that we both just wanted out. Never to see each other again.
Truth be told, we might had even wanted the other to suffer a little. Excuse me, more like suffer a lot.
Then… this thing called “grace” came flooding in when we finally surrendered ourselves to Jesus. We invited Him to do all that we had tried so tirelessly to do, the all which only He could do.
This, of course, was after a lot of kicking and screaming, “we know best” thinking, and a lot of “we can do it ourselves.”
…. During these times, marriage wasn’t the only thing killing my soul. But, also, buried deep inside remained hurt from childhood sexual abuse.
By the grace of God….slowly, and only by His grace, healing came.
Because of this—God has given me a dream, vision, and passion to love women… just where they are in life.
And my bend—it seems—is usually to women resembling me and my own story.
For those of us who have been on this journey “with” God for even a short time, we know this is how He works—He takes the bad and makes good from it… when we love and follow Him.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, ESV)
Please know that it’s my joy and honor to meet you today.
Blessings,
What I Believe…
I believe God is One in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing. I believe that God’s three Persons are all distinct, yet each Person is fully God.
I believe that Jesus Christ, in His incarnation, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, the only begotten by God the Father. I believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, perfectly fulfilling the law. I believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead on the third day. I believe that Jesus did this in order to make provision for sinners as the perfect substitutional sacrifice for those who, by God’s grace, respond with repentance and faith in Him.
I believe the Holy Spirit exalts Christ and convicts men of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He dwells, sanctifies, equips, enlightens, and empowers God’s children for obedience, worship, witness, and service. I believe that the Holy Spirit also seals God’s children for eternal salvation.
I believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that it is truth, without error, and divinely inspired. I submit to its authority.
I believe God created man in His own image, both male and female, with the purpose of glorifying Himself. I believe that because of rebellion and sin, man is separated from God and deserving of eternal punishment. However, man, being created in the image of God, is still worthy of respect, dignity, and neighborly Christian love.
I believe in the unity of the Church under the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority of God’s Word.
