“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation.” (1 Peter 4:12-13, NASB)
Are you feeling so defeated in life right now that you wonder how this pain could be used for God’s glory?
Do you even want to praise God in the midst of your pain?
I have been through much tragedy in my life, but my tragedy is still minimal compared to what most people are facing this very second.
We can get so caught up in our hurt, we miss seeing all the blessings that come from our tragedies.
I know it may not make sense, but we should be ready to praise, worship, and bless God’s Holy name. Every second. Of every day. No matter what we are facing.
Are you in the midst of such a dark cloud right now, it feels impossible to praise God?
If this is you Dear one, God has not left you. You may feel slain, but everything that happens in this world is either done by or allowed by God. If your heart is ripped into pieces, Jesus can mend it back together.
I beg you to listen to this beautiful song, rather you are in the midst of light or darkness right now.
Please, please, please…. listen to every word of this video from beginning to end. It is only a little over six minutes long, but it will not be six wasted minutes. I promise it will bless you. The words brought healing tears to my eyes the first time I heard it. Towards the end of the song, you will hear John Piper teach you great wisdom in the midst of your pain.
Did it bless you? Are you ready to praise, worship, and bless God’s Holy name now?
I hope so, my friend.
God bless! Love you all!!
