“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV)
Dear Lord,
Shower me in Your grace today. I’m desperate for You Lord.
I’m tired. I’m weary. My feet find it hard to move.
I know that I’m nothing but a poor old sinner, deserving of nothing but Hell.
But I don’t have to be perfect, do I Lord?
In Your Perfect Holiness, You “presented Christ . . . ” to all who will receive Him, by grace through faith, to be Lord of their life.
What a marvelous gift You have given us!
And You’re not sitting somewhere, waiting for us to get everything right…..
Instead, You’ve already made me right.
The cross was the plan… even before the world began.
Your purchase of me is complete. Because You My Father… are the Great I Am!
The grace You pour out…. is food for my soul.
Lord, thank you . . . thank you! For being The Great I Am!
You are Perfect. Wonderful. Gracious. Merciful. And Lovely.
And me? Imperfect. Rotton. Graceless. Merciless. And Unlovely.
But You’re not waiting on me to become something deserving of Your love . . . are You Lord?
No . . . You’re most definitely not.
The penalty for my sin . . . has been atoned for by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Yes, Lord! You’re working inside me right now, making everything new.
I thank You Lord, for the work of the Holy Spirit.
I praise You Lord, for Your convictions.
I owe my life to You Lord, for giving me eternal Life.
I’m awed by You Lord, for Your Forgiveness of my sins.
I’m forever grateful to You Lord, for the salvation You have given me.
“Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almight: the whole earth is full of His glory.”
Thank you Lord…. for everything.
Amen.
God bless!! Love you all!
