“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” (Luke 6:46, ESV)
Choices….
Do you feel bombarded with too many of them?
Are you ready to throw all of life’s decisions up in the air and give up?
One would think choices should make life a little more pleasant and simpler.
Wrong….
Choices make it harder on a person to make a decision…. or even make a decision and stick with it.
I challenge you today to make the decision to ask Jesus which choice you should make. Or not make. Then do exactly what He says. No matter how you are directed.
He may just say….
Wait a little longer. Be patient.
Quit wanting change. Be content.
Go for it. Stop delaying.
Or He may tell you to fly across the world to do His work.
Don’t let all the noise pollution from the abundance of choices dancing around your mind…. deafen your heart to what the Lord leads you to do. No matter how small or big the choices are. Ask Him for guidance.
And most definitely don’t let other people steer you wrong after you know exactly what the Lord has told you to do.
Do exactly as Jesus instructs. Let Him be your foundation.
If not, when the storm comes, you may get washed away.
Jesus says…
“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:46-49)
God bless! Love you all!!
